But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to
you. John 14:26
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will
not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you
about the future. John 16:13
Each believer has encountered the Holy Spirit in life. Think about something
important to you, in which the Holy Spirit made all the difference for you..
And how you are thankful for him living in and abiding in you. Are we fully
utilizing his presence living in us, as we do using our lungs for breathing
air, or our mouth for talking? Every moment of every day he wants to be part
of all that we are, and are to be.. So why do some put him in a special
closet and only open it on special occasions…? And some never recognize
him at all …
is from the 1st and 3rd chapters of Ephesians. My wife and I were married in 1976 and in 1992 we opened our selves to a sort of Pandora’s Box. And to make a very long story short, we were separated and in a divorce battle. Turning to Jesus I became born again. I learned to pray, and a few months later found this Ephesians prayer and started using it, inserting my wife’s name where the word you…. is daily. I also got others to be in agreement with me during my prayer. …….
Months went by, but I never gave up believing in God’s faithfulness. She gave her heart to the Lord and God restored our marriage a short time later. We now share as best as we can about what God’s Marvelous love can do in anyone’s life that is given to him.
God has a since of humor… Many years ago my wife was having a little talk with the Lord. And during the conversation, she said that sometimes she feels like she is losing her mind. And just that quick He said that you have to lose yours to receive mine.
